|
Monday 31st
March
9:30am to
12:30pm

Our 'Introduction to
Financial Wellbeing: Training for Third Sector Practitioners' course is for
anyone working directly with people within the third sector who do not
necessarily provide money advice but would benefit from feeling more
confident in talking to their service users about money worries they may
have.
This course has been
designed to examine and understand the essential elements of financial
wellbeing, exploring the challenges and barriers that prevent many
individuals from achieving it. New topics include the lasting impact of the
cost-of-living crisis, digital exclusion, poverty, and domestic abuse. The
course also highlights practical strategies to overcome these barriers and
enhance financial wellbeing through effective money guidance.
This free course is open
to everyone, with a special focus on those in supportive roles. It provides
participants with valuable insights into the link between financial wellbeing
and overall wellbeing. The course also explores practical methods to integrate
money guidance and financial education into their services, helping their
clients take meaningful steps toward financial stability and confidence.
Please note that these
sessions do not cover benefits or debt advice.
